Shawn Stussy was part of the cult surfboard shapers from Laguna Beach; one day he decided to scribble his now famous signature on a t-shirt, which soon expanded to a clothing line that took the californian surf crowd by storm.
With 30 years of heritage behind it, Stussy started the new wave beach culture and is now at the forefront of street wear fashion. Shawn Stussy took inspiration from meeting street wear trendsetters of New York and further trips to Tokyo and London to give Stussy a worldwide recognition.

The collection was also influenced from all other walks of life during his international travels, where Shawn was able to draw inspiration from musicians and DJ's to give his brand global appeal and react to the rave culture of the 80's and early 90's.
