Lyle and Scott was founded in the 18th century and was a Scottish company based in the town of Hawick. The brand was established by business partners William Lyle and Walter Scott. The brand has sprung back into life in the past few years thanks to many fashion conscious celebrities including Dermot O'Leary, Steve Jones and band members from the Arctic Monkeys and Babyshambles all relishing to find the next big label.

Originally famous for making high quality lambswool pieces particularly for golfers, where they sponsored the highest profile names in the sport including Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer. This led to them providing the uniform kit for the Ryder Cup team in 1969.
The relaunch happened less then a decade ago with two collections the heritage and vintage range; the main objective for the brand was to create modern day fashion in contemporary styles and fits.
